Hi everyone.... two days ago, I slipped and fell and broke my shoulder, so I will be out of the bbq scene for a couple of months. Monday, I am flying to Greece for some pampering and I will be reporting on other peoples cues...
Have fun people and be careful out there!

Will do brother..... Already thinking of my celebratory "just got well" bbq. Shouldn't be there some sort of BBQ insurance that offered us wounded horses some exquisite cue and cold beer / good wine served by scantily clad women?
I'd pay good money for something like that! No sex, just food and wine and pampering

"Cue Compensation Plan" sounds perfectly reasonable to me I'm thinking you just have to do a lamb shoulder Cheers

Broken shoulders hurt, Stay off the bloody Ouzo next time. Sorry to hear that Ozy, I once tripped over bump in a carpet rug in the black of night while holding/feeding my one year old child. I went down protecting the child knowing Ill do some damage to myself and that I did. From then on, All rugs were banned from the house. Hope your on the mend soon and do take in that pampering mate. I suppose now the damage is done, Ouzo is an acceptable form of self medication

That's got to hurt. Only ever dislocated a shoulder not broken one and that was bad enough.
Here i was thinking that slicing the tips off a couple of fingers while chopping chillies the other night was bad and that happens to you. Goes to show there's always someone worse off.
At least you can still work a keyboard so keep us posted on how Greece does BBQ, rest and recover. We'll look forward to your posts and the return to health cooks.
