I got a question for you guys.... I love pickled gherkins, both for my burgers and to go with cold cuts. However, all the ones I found here in Australia are either waaaay too sweet or too sour. Would you recommend any decent brand?

Yeah, I have to agree with you, we tend to get them at the Farmer's Markets seems a lot of people feel the same way and do their own.
Checking the cupboard we do have a jar of Always Fresh, they are not bad.

In Sydney I used to get really good ones from a German butcher that had all the mustards and pickles etc, I generaly go for the larger dill pickles from my local. They don't seem as sweet. I'm not a real fan of lolly water gherkins myself. Like tequila, A certain life experiance turned me off them for life

Tequila I can understand, although did enjoy a Margarita a few months back, but pickles? To mis-quote Bill Murray I am not sure we should party together Cheers
