They look OK, Much cheaper than a name brand that escapes me. They are so simple I wonder if I could buy a bag of clay and make one. Might look like something Homer Simpson made though,,,,

I think there is some design in them, so maybe harder than you think. Would love to see the result... Need to be circular so the inner weight keeps pushing the cabbage down, and the moat must be airtight

Unless you have some reasonable experience with pottery making, and access to a wheel Smokey I'd suggest not. My kid brother used to do a lot of pottery, nice stuff, still have some pieces. He tried making one of these, as Gatsby says devil in the detail. That really is a good price by the look of the product - tempting Cheers
