Made a coffee rub a few weeks ago and tried it but was a bit enthusiastic in the application so I did it again on the weekend and applied a fair bit less. 1/4 cup ground coffee 1/4 cup brown sugar 2 teasponns chilli powder 1 Tblsp freshly ground Black Pepper 2 Tblsp Salt 1 Tblsp Paprika 1 Tablsp Garlic Powder 1 Tblsp Onion Pwder 1/2 Tblsp Cayenne 1/2 Tblsp Ground Coriander Came out pretty good. Did some roast vegies as well and a couple of corn cobs. Beef and vegies cooking away happily. Corn was rubbed with garlic butter and cracked black pepper then wrapped in foil and roasted for 20 minutes Tender tasty beef with roast vegies, corn and steamed peas. No photos of it plated, too hungry.

When you say ground coffee, do you mean instant coffee or ground beans? I would assume freshly ground beans for the aromatics... Not sure what instant would be like.
Thanks

Freshly ground beans are the go.
I hate instant coffee.

Heh, For simple convenience I've tolerated Instant for a long time but this past year I'm starting to wonder if there is any coffee in the stuff any more, have been back using the dripolator for a while. That looks like damned good beef, and excellent corn, I have been using corn cooked that way to break down my wife's resistance to the Q Cheers
