Nice PP Bentley And wow that pit is Low. Is there a particular reason the lid isn't doamed?

Just their design on this one. It is called the Elite 24. It is about 16cm in the front and 22cm high in the back. They make other units with the more traditional round barrels. Entry level, $599 here, so not a giant pit but it will hold a decent amount...6kg Brisket and 1.5kg beef ribs & 4.8kg Picnic an 2.2kg Fryer...

Gives you an idea of how some of their other units look! This is their 65cm barrel pit!
