Have to have a licence up here to grow these. This a cavendish, They taste better than store bought being much sweeter and stronger coloured. Good thing about them is the herb is not a tall growing plant like lady fingers. This is comming up now, Don't look much but it will be the the biggest lot so far. I waisted so much from the last spike off this tree. Once they are ready to harvest that entire mast gets cut down as it will never fruit again. That is a massive amount plant matter I need to deal with

There's a couple of liters of sauce there as well as a few full lunchboxes.
Half your luck, nothing beats fresh out of the garden not flogged around in a truck for days before hitting the shelves or controlled atmosphere stored fruit.

How far off ripe was the fruit?
