Greetings from a new member in New Zealand!
I've just bought a Q2200 and my first attempt at pizzas was pretty good.
However, after 20 minutes pre-heating the temperature only reached 210 degrees C on the gauge. On the side plate it states not to use the oven closed on high for longer than 20 minutes and the temperature should not exceed 288 degrees C.
Does anyone know what temperature the 2200 should achieve? It didn't change much after adding the food and lowering to two bars below high setting.

Welcome Tommy, I don't have a Q but you should ring weber service and tell them as it sounds like you possibly have a dicky gas regulator. Full boar for only 20 minutes? I've only ever seen fat fires destroy BBQ's so maybe they are banking on that most people don't give there Q a simple scrape down? Also, Gas bbq and Pizza is realy an oxymoron. Us gas users cannot compete with other, Much hotter cookers out there but can still turn out some respectable pies.

T the P Turn the gass off at the bottle, turn the gas control on the Q on and wait 15 seconds. Turn the gas control off Now turn the bottle on 2 turns and wait for 30 seconds, then turn the gas control on the Q on and light the burner. Leave on high for 15 minutes, the Q should go to about 500 F. If it doesn't then talk to Weber Customer Service or the Retailer if there is no Weber CS in NZ.
Cheers Mate,
Captain
