I got a couple of friends coming over on Sunday for a bit of cue and a beer or two. Nothing fancy. I am thinking of marinading and then grilling a few rashers of pork belly.
what would you serve with them?

Id make a potato salad with fried bacon bits, The rest would be grilled zuccini, Squash and capsicum. Maybe some pickled red cabbage to help cut the fatyness of the belly.

I usually do a mustard sauce, smashed potatoes and honeyed peas and carrots with pork chops.
Grilled corn cobs would be good too.

As soon as I read Pork and Beer something in me screamed Potatoes and Sauerkraut and some good crusty bread. Not everyone's cup of tea I'll admit but it sure works for me.

Thinly Slice a couple of Granny Smith apples, boil or microwave them in till they are soft, then drain and cook them for a further few minutes with some finely chopped chillies and some coriander leaves. Makes a great relish for pork. You can use dried chilli flakes instead if you wish. Captain
