Never got enough room so I pulled everything out and now adorns every table in the house, On the floor,, stuff is everywhere. Built in a few extra shelves up high for stuff that doesn't get used much and a lighter shelf across the back for my spice tins. undernieth which Im thinking of a wire rack type system against the back wall for plastic bloody packets. The Bain of my OCD. You know the ones, chicken noodle soup type packets, Half used galangle powder from the Asian market,,,,, I want them all in wire racks on that wall so I can see what I have rather then discover I have it years later Wife isn't happy but I had to put the foot down, I'm turning this pantry into a working one. Oh, Don't paint enamel in an area like this without PPE

My last house had a very similar pantry mate, aka Aladdin's Cave until myself and my eldest daughter took to it one weekend. If you have an Ikea anywhere near they do a great slide-in/slide-out wire basket storage system that I used for all those pesky packets, three deep so room for all the stuff that doesn't shelve well Cheers

Our pantry is like a single door linen press, so when I turned the 3rd bedroom into a computer room cum general go to buggery room I put shelves in the built in wardrobe and turned it into a backup pantry.
