Was packing a heap of meat today when our vacuum sealer kicked the bucket, can't complain after about 4 years as it was a cheapie to start with. Went and bought a Sunbeam VS7000, it makes the old one seem stone age.

They usually choose to fail when you've got a mountain of stuff to do in them and never at the end of the job. My Aldi one has stopped and will be replaced after the Christmas bank drain has finished.

Same thing happened to me and went with the Vac780 ( is that the same as what you mean?) Thicker seal and manual pump till I decide to seal are great functions indeed. I'm after a meat slicer and I'm struggling to find something that is in the same quality range without going to commercial product at high prices. There dosent seem to be a middle ground with slicers. And Bill, What happened to your gif ? I can place one for you if you like

Meant me. Too much steering wheel and desk time lately. Motel restaurants and take away food. Starting to look like a pillowcase full of marshmallows.
