Interesting there are no noggins throughout the studs. Maybe your drywall is stronger than our gyprock. Now is the time to tape in glass wool in the walls for sound proofing, Makes a massive difference. My builder inducted me to the site and let me go for it. I just stapled it in using plastic box packing tape.

Looking good, just a bit of weather, no issue with the house at that stage of completion, would be if the drywall had been installed. Drywall is much the same as our plasterboard Mick, the US way of timber framing is very similar to the UK, Australia does do it different, good idea, PITA for dropping cable Dad used to build on steel frame, different again, but with timber we tend to take more account of settling I'd guess although just what difference it really makes I'm unconvinced, the plasterboard is hardly load bearing I hasten to add, I'm not a builder, just been around them all my life It is a thought though in terms of what usually gets me swearing at walls. If you have some idea of where you might be putting any cabling for speakers or network points Bentley now is a really good time to put in a few draw-wires ( The latter is not the issue it was, most all of us use Wi-Fi these days but you never know, it was a bloody nightmare getting cable to my home server in the old place - WA, double brick.) Cheers

They will fiberglass the walls for both insulation and sound when the sheet rock goes in. They spray an expanding foam around the window areas. The ceiling insulation will be blown in. Only real wiring in walls other then electrical and coax for DirecTV is some speaker wire for my surround sound in bedroom. The coax is set for the wireless Wi-Fi in den. Are cheapest option at this point is a wireless set up from Verizon that comes to what they call a Canntena, then to a router/modem that sends out the wireless signal about 300 feet...and we don't have any need for any other hard wire in the house.

Have about 2/3's of the back lawn planted. It is a Bermuda grass called Rivera, as close to a hybrid as we could get with seed and not stolons or turf. This is about a 20,000 sq.ft area.

It is not real pretty when you use 4 different remnants of paint to seal exposed wood, but will hope it is functional. 4 X 4 X 16, so should hold close to 2 chords. Will set it on 8 cinder blocks to keep it out of wet. If we can ever get Farmer Brown (seriously his name) to get the corn cut for silage it will go here.
