Last night I made a pork taco mince and threw in a home grown, dried and smoked jalapeño. I get exited when I get to do this. This batch was a breed of Jal I imported called Biker Billy. Purported to be on the hotter side and I can attest to that. After frying off the mince and carrot and adding some liquid to be simmered down I threw in half a seeded chipotle and wow what a great flavour it imparted. takes plane old taco mix to a new level particularly when stove top pan cooking.
