Aldi have ducks for $14.99 from today. 2.2kg frozen.
Actually remembered and got a couple, now all I have to do is work out which of Shaynes recipes to do.

Saw them in the catalogue and decided to risk waiting until lunchtime.
I had to have a long hard look and then eventually asked. They were buried in the freezer with the chooks and turkeys.
Had a sign saying "here for the season" so hopefully they'll keep stocking them for the run up to Christmas.

Mmmm, that's interesting.
I must have overlooked them listed in their catt.
I am still trying to get through my $11 rain checks so will pass on them, if I see them in my local for sale.
That said, it would be interesting to see how they compare to the Luv-a-duck (meat/fat ratio,,,, and taste) in that same weight range.

Ps, Angus, if you are looking for a way to bbq yours, seriously, Balsamic is a "MUST"

That's the plan for the first one and probably the Orange for the second. They are Luv a Duck brand, just frozen.
Bill, they might be doing a different range in different areas. It was the catalogue with 50% off on one side and weekly specials on the other. Wednesday specials page and listed in with the turkey and chicken ranges.

Looks like I'm blind as well as stupid, they're there as plain as day, damned if I know how we missed them.
