Had the folks over last night so an excuse to turn on a feed. The menu; GMG pellets smoked brisket point end with home made rue gravy Coliflour algratin Home grown French heirloom blanched carrot Julianne with green beans and asparagus Lattice slice with strawberrys and double cream with a liquor musket side I'll put up the recipe for the slice, It was Devine.

That slice looks a lot like one my wifes Grandmother used to make. Sweet filling with a hint of savoury in the biscuit from memory.
It was one of the things I looked forward to when I drove 4 hours to visit them. Cup of tea, that slice and a game of 500 then off to the club for cold schooners, Bingo and the meat raffle. Happy days.
Can't wait to see if the recipe is the same one, kids will love it.
