I just want to say, no complaints at all from me on moving the thread I just posted in what seemed like the best place.
The book you posted looks VERY interesting and I will definitely add it to my wish list but I can't buy everything I want at once.
Well, I suppose I could but then I'd be both bankrupt and homeless.
My priorities, in no real order are, rent, utilities, CATV, Internet, phone, car insurance, renters insurance, a self storage unit that is over $100 a month, gas for the cars, food for myself and my mother, food for our cats, put a bit into savings and after all of that, if there's anything left I might buy a little something but I didn't just buy a little something I bought a $600+ electric range and before that close to $2K in computer stuff and my mother and I have agreed that our Christmas gifts to each other will be new flat screen TVs and Blu Ray players which is another $1K and so for the moment no other extra purchases here but as I said a very interesting looking book and I popped it into my wish list.
We aren't destitute but we aren't rich either.
I'm not saying that I think you guys are, I'm just saying that until we get cashed back up a bit I have to think hard before I spend money and while that book looks great, I'm not going to die without it.

ST I have that one plus 2 more from Steven Raichlen. I have a bookshelf full of BBQ related cookbooks which I use for inspiration for my recipes. I never or rarely follow a recipe completely, I am a tweaker. One BBQ Cookbook that I love for the Humour as well as the simplicity is Bob Hart's Heat and Smoke. Bob and I had lunch together some years back when he was retiring from the Newspaper and had some lively discussions about BBQ and demonstrating/teaching BBQ. I have a signed copy of his book which is one of my treasured possessions. If you have a copy read tyhe disclaimer at the back of the book. Its a beauty. Here is a link to his website - www.australianbarbecueacademy.com/Cheers
