At smoko this morning it was decided that I would be cooking lunch on the gas BBQ sitting just outside the mealroom that rarely gets used. Those here today agreed to stump up for the ingredients if I did it. Not much time to prepare and I didn't feel like chops or steaks so I opted for Prawn and Chorizo skewers with a Rocket and Pear salad. The recipe has been in the Seafood thread since I got here. on the BBQ On the plate. All up it cost $7.00 a head and tasted better than the occasional takeaway Friday we have.

Fantastic, I bet that lifted the spirits of the work buddy's Nice job. The rocket salad has given me an idea, I normally serve grilled baby octopus on rocket salad as the flavours just go together but I reckon slices of pear will really kick it

Yummo Angus.
Tread lightly though, as if you spoil em too much demonstrating your know how, you might be ultimately digging your own grave, I.e, automatic assignment as chief cook.....
