Off topic has never bothered me and if someone does mention in passing some great recipe, well, post it in full Rearrange looks pretty good to me, still a lot of boards but gently does it Cheers

Guys while I am not in a staff position here I have run a lot of other forums and consolidating things makes a lot of sense to me.
If anybody cares what I think send me a PM or send me your phone # and I'll call you.
I know I got off on the wrong foot with some of you blokes but I truly do want to try to make it right.

Cooking forums generally need more boards due to the wide variety we have at hand. Im pretty happy with the current layout. it's much more compact then some of the biggest US forums, and the other two AU forums. We have no child boards and I find it easy to place stuff in an appropriate category. You have to remember, With cooking and bbq that some people are very interested in maybe a certain aspect of it. They like to Cruze that area without having to sort through non related information. That and I can't stand fast moving topics other then general chit chat. While General chat is fun, It's not the reason of the forum. The forum has a utility purpose and that is real life and "As we go" recipes and information rather then just a bank of verbatim. Anyone can set up a web page and put recipes on it. But when they are done almost live with the cook interacting, It gains sole and excitement,,,, Inspiring.
