Not much happened on this end really, as i am pretty set up with every thing for my needs. A few pairs of BBQ gloves and,,,,, a wok burner... I know, i already have a high flow wok burner but, the regulator is sort of in a faulty state, so, with the 50% 0ff and a few extra dollars, purchased the whole box and dice for what it would have cost for a new regulator alone Shayne

I only needed fuel, was happy to scrape out what I did. Saying that, It was like a bloody war. The e bay enemy caused mayhem. The drunken e bay fairy hopefully brought home the bacon however if It turns to clay, I'll still pay up as I did dance with the devil.

Yeh, it was bit like that here. As in the OP, i had already made my purchases and had used up my special coupon code. But, i still had the wifes Ebay account to play with when she got home from work. I sifted through the BQ section many times trying to spot something needed (a WeberQ was considered more than once)........but.......pffft, It was getting to a stage of spend to save ,,,,,, so.. i purchased zip more.... Yeh, Chris would have been busy. We mightin here from him for a while, as he takes off on around the world holiday funded by the revenue pick up. Congrats to him. Shayne

Looked at a few things and figured I probably didn't really need them.
Came close to getting a hibachi but the wife wan't too keen on BBQ number 6 being added to the back deck so for the sake of keeping the peace I didn't.
Next time.
Spent the day building the chilli garden and planting the first lot of seeds instead.

Geee, that was bloody quick.........
I purchased this Wok burner yesterday, shortly after 10am. The postage was an extra 13 buks, which I considered aborting to take the option of pick up, but,,,,, didn't want to mess around waiting for a revised invoice, less the postage, so paid the total amount including the shipping.
@ about 11:30 am, saw that the seller had marked the item as posted (BTW, courier delivered, not Aus post)
Anyway, got home just a while ago to see a delivered Wok burner.
I couldn't believe my eyes...... Like how fast was that??
I haven't tester her yet, but full points at this stage for an extremely fast delivery....

What's going on,
It's been at your house long enough for you to take photos and put up a post and you haven't cooked on it yet.
Bet that it'll be showing signs of use within 24 hours.

Nice simple stir-fry there Shayne ? A much under-rated cook, been given a bad rep by being cooked without enough heat. Living in WA you get used to long delivery times but that is rather extraordinary. It's incredibly variable as to who does the last mile delivery, Aussie Post out-source a fair bit. I give up on predicting delivery tbh, order some laptops from Melbourne they arrive overnight, order a NAS from Sydney on a Thursday afternoon and it's here Monday, books from the UK in three days, then some parts from Sydney take ten days Cheers

I know that a simple Tai green curry ain't right unless it has that flash sear flavour of a very hot wok.
