Had some big winds and very low temperatures on the Far South Coast over the past few days. A weeks worth of fire wood has gone into the house in three days and my other shed projects have been put on hold till I fix this. Wind moved it 5 metres, turned it around and bent the legs. At least the BBQ's were safe. Only got to take the net frame off and straighten the bent legs then straighten the net frame posts and then put it all back together. Should be about half a cartons worth of work. Can't rush quality. Designed a hold down system in my head. Do you guys reckon it will work? Screw in ground anchor under the centre of the trampoline with guy ropes evenly attached to the frame in at least three spots. Can't use the area under the trampoline so may as well make it harder to move.

Heh, Half of Australia seems to be blowing a gale, been more than somewhat blowy in WA as well. Those trampolines are more like garden kites when the wind gets up, used to tether ours to some poured concrete at three points with eye-bolts set into the concrete but get a good wind up where I used to live and there'd be a couple of them being recovered from the park However can't see why your idea would not work Cheers

Just found a kit of four ground anchors and straps for $16 on eBay. On their way to my place now.
If you've got a trampoline in your backyard consider getting some. Saw one of the 16 foot ones on the roof of a childcare centre on the news last night.
