Australia lost another rock legend today and he will be sorely missed.
Grew up listening to The Angels as loud as I could and still give them a blast as often as I can.
We're never gonna see his face again.
Having a beer in his memory.

Sad day in the world of rock. When my now wife was doing Uni she used to work at Westfields Miranda. I used to pick her up and while waiting Id have a coffee with Doc in an out of the way caffateria, He was always there so wed often have a convo on a thursday night. Great fella he was, Always asking when Ill get back on the bass guitar. All the greats are leaving us

*Sad smile*
Saw them play many times in Adelaide, one of the defining voices of Oz Rock, will indeed be missed.

Yes, a great Aussie Band.
I was a big time follower back in my youth.
Went to many, many gigs, always buying a tour shirt or two afterwards, one to wear and one to store.
Wish I had em now....
I met Doc once, and what a great guy.
He will be sadly missed by a lot of people.
I am sure God will enjoy his company..............

Yeah, an intimation of mortality for many, I lose count of the number of gigs I attended, always great.
Met him myself a few times, lived in Adelaide in their heyday and good mates were roadies, as you say Shayne, a great guy, that era is disappearing fast.
Cheers
