I got some XX hot rub from Terry at Aussieebbq smoke and decided to smother some breast with it, gave it a good beating as well, just like a red headed step child. Did some Sweet potatoes in the microwave briefly, then maple syrup and on the hot flat grill to char a little. Both the wife and I said it was the ultimate combination of hot and sweet. Cant recommend the rub enough, really really good stuff! (no affiliation, just a happy dude)

Why did I miss this? Terrys rubs are actually pretty good. Probably because they are quite fresh. I've thrown many US imported rubs out upon opening the packet because they were stale. Stale rubs might be ok for ultra long smoking briskets and such but for grilling, Nothing beats a good bright and fresh rub.

Hmm, Yeah, I'd missed this as well, sorry percelq. Does sound like something to have a go at. I'm a bit like you Mick I really do not often buy imported rubs but nobody ever seems to say a bad thing about Terry Just by the by the new site will make things a lot easier from the point of view of tracking posts Cheers

The good thing is, Keeping this section clean works. I searched through if there was a piri piri dish I could add to. We now have about 75 good recipes in the bank
