Dunno if this is nationwide but if the pretty hopeless Coles around the corner has it there's a reasonable chance, it may even be in other Supermarkets.
You buy three Leggos products and you get a free Leggos cookbook.
We use Leggos products all the time, especially their Tomato paste so it was no hardship to get a couple of jars and a pack of their sachets - very convenient sometimes the last one.
I've just been browsing through the cookbook, pretty much entirely Italian food of course, which I've no problem with, I'm sure there's some Italian in my tumbling genes mix. I'm frankly very pleasantly surprised by the recipes if not so much by some of the methods, they look like some really good dishes and a lot of them would go great on the BBQ.
I have to say Leggos gets my vote for being one of the few convenience brands whose products are pretty much all great, especially the paste and their pesto but also their various stir throughs. They tend towards a very natural taste, which is refreshing, heck, my Italian friends swear by them
Great little book.
My go-to Italian cookbook has been Silver Spoon for ages but it's a bit of a tome, this is a quick selection of great ideas that can be adapted in all manner of ways and the price is right
In simpler times I used to make all my own tomato pastes and from those you can build most anything used in the book of that type but these days... making paste is a lot of work Pesto I do prefer to make my own but Leggos comes very, very close.
Cheers
