It's been 5 weeks since my last cook, oh how I miss it. I have had some memoral meals lately, smoked salmon and champagne followed by eggs benedict for breakfast on the Rhine river, frogs legs and escargot, confit of duck and boeuf bourginion in Paris, fish pie and fish and chips with mushy peas in London but no bloody BBQ. I am now on a train from London to Edinburgh with still no BBQ in sight. Still go another 3 1/2 weeks to go, looks like I will need re-training in the art of BBQ when I get home.
cheers
Captain

Had haggis and jeeps for dinner last night I have had it many times before and love he taste, however no-one cooks it the same. Had lamb shank pie for lunch - in a pie dish with minted peas and topped with a puff pastry. Bloody magnificent. I am going to try this on the baby Q slow cooked in a tray covered in foil then assembled ante finished indirect with the puff pastry on top. No time to try the oink this week but I will be back next week for a couple of days.
cheers
