Dunno if this belongs here or in utensils but was just reading the pulled pork thread and remembered that my injector has just about finally had its day.
I can hardly complain, bought it from a specialist place in San Francisco well over ten years ago and it was being used pretty much weekly up until a couple of years ago when life sort of intervened ( bringing it back on the flight was... interesting, it was in checked baggage but I had a "please explain" at Perth airport, if it not been that one of the baggage handlers was a former butcher I think I might have had a "discussion" with the drug squad )
I don't even vaguely recall what brand it was but I'm pretty certain I had change out of ten bucks for it - did have a bit of a gadget spend at the place, if you are ever in San Fran, a trip on BART down to Burlingame is well worth it. The main drag away from the BART station is one fascinating collection of eclectic shops, it was also where I bought a great book on pressure cooking
But, looking around I THINK it was this one or similar:
www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002SG6HRE/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=amazingribs--20&linkCode=as2&camp=217145&creative=399369&creativeASIN=B002SG6HRE
Which is peanuts but as I say it lasted ages, so should I give UG some business, the Traeger certainly looks the goods but I could get a six pack of these for less
I should mention Amazin' Ribs seem to like this one as well.
Cheers
