Just bought a new Q3200 and in researching it, I ran across your name time and time again. Thanks for all the wonderful posts you've made on forums all over the world. I would love to get a copy of your eBook, if it is still available. Just let me know what to do.

Welcome to the Cue Recipe forum Jeff. Between this forum and Davo.s ABBQF General forum you should have all bases covered. I look forward to see you regularly on both.
The Captain will be along soon and I've no doubt he will be eager to help you out.

Thanks for the welcome. Got the grill together this afternoon and had some nice small ribeye steaks for her maiden voyage. My wife's not one for rare steak, and I'm not one for dry. Very pleased that I could cook our steaks to medium - medium well yet keep them very juicy. Don't think the Q will completely replace my charcoal grills, but it was a wonderful time saver on a weeknight evening. Here's a picture of her before the first cook...she'll never be this clean again!

Hey that is a sexy looking red head there Jeff but she's dark down below bad joke There will be plenty of envious Aussies wanting one. Nice yard too, Looks relaxing. With your background in wood / lump burning, I think you will find great success with that Weber Q.

Very nice, that was my finding with the Weber Q although I just have the 200, ideal for cooking during the week. Cheers

Hi Y'all Love saying that, Hi Jeff, great to see you on the Aussie Cue forum, its quite different from the ABBQF. Thank you for your kind words regarding my helpfulness and knowledge with the Q series. I have posted a copy of my Q Recipe book and hints here aussiecue.freeforums.net/thread/181/captains-weber-recipe-useful-hintsBecause you are in the USA, when you download the book, if you find it useful, make a dontaion to a kids charity of your choice, the amount does not matter, the fact of helping a kid put a smile on their face is all that matters . You do not have the Make A Wish foundation over there but you do have other worthwhile kids charities. The Q300 series has to be one of the best BBQs that I have used, It is as you will discover the perfect bbq for those quick cooks of a night in summer and winter. You can use it in your Garage in winter if it gets too cold. It is not designed to take the place of a Kettle or other charcoal BBQ, It is not very good as a smoker you can get some smoke flavour but it is a bit hit and miss. As an outdoor oven or grill it excels. I cook cakes bread and everything else in my Q220 and Q120. It is all about getting to know your Q and the different methods of cooking in it. I always try and keep it as simple as I can and try to have the natural meat flavours. Post any questions you like and I will try and answer them as best I can
