I have the same unit Mick, purchased (impulse buy, put in along side my camping gear) off Ebay when they had that crazy BBQ goods promotion some time back.
I am still yet to use it as I currently use a Thai model that yeh, uses the high flow Rambo Reg.
I did fire it up on arrival and had a thread about it I think over at the other forum.
My initial findings was that the way the actual burner was set up, the flame was very concentrated to the base of the Wok only. That made me think that it would create a hot spot in the base of the Wok. Just a theory at the time really.
As I haven't field tested it for myself, so that theory holds no weight.
I will have to unbox the bloody thing again and give it a go........

From last nights experiance, The flame shoots up the sides but is held captive by the burner body itself if that makes sence.

I have two woks, which are used every day. One is 18 years old and the other about a year younger. I would still recommend them. Wok design hasn't changed for millennia. Before purchasing outdoor wok burner, check out these reviews outdoormancave.com/best-outdoor-wok-burners/
